Description
Alexa is an aluminium Reinke 13M – owner-built from Kurt Reinke's design drawings, started in 2005 with the involvement of Rehberger Yachtbau. After ten years of construction she was launched in 2015 and registered under the German flag, design category A (ocean). In 2021 she was transferred via rivers and canals to southern France and has been at Port Napoléon ever since. According to a marine surveyor's report from February 2026, the structure is sound: hull, rudder, shaft and twin keels without findings, no structural damage to the superstructure, and the fine woodwork in the saloon in good condition. High-quality equipment is installed, including a Victron Multiplus charger/inverter, an enclosed Fischer Panda generator, a Webasto diesel heater, a bow thruster with joystick, a Lofrans windlass and four Andersen stainless steel winches. Important for your planning: mast, standing rigging and sails are not with the boat. The Mercedes diesel (built 1991) has not run for several years and must be serviced before use. The batteries are flat, so engine, generator, heater and electronics could not be tested. In the aft cabin, the woodwork on the port side is damaged by water ingress. Alexa is therefore aimed at blue-water sailors and refit enthusiasts looking for a solidly built aluminium yacht to complete to their own specifications. Extensive build documentation is available.
